【Premature puberty】A 7-year-old girl loves to eat carnivorous and drinks a lot of milk and seeks medical treatment to expose precocious puberty. Doctor: Premature puberty has higher risk of breast cancer and vascular disease

▲ A 7-year-old girl loves to eat meat and drinks a lot of milk every week. When she sought medical advice, she was shocked to find out that she had precocious puberty.

In Hong Kong, girls who have started breast development before the age of 10 or have premature puberty will be specified as premature puberty. Precocious girls will have higher risk of breast cancer. Hemostatic pressure and vascular disease changes are also common. In addition, parents will also be worried that precocious daughters will become shorter when they become adults.

The scary thing is that before the 20th century, the average developmental age of girls was 16 years old. Nowadays, throughout the world, there is a trend of early puberty and younger people. This is related to the animal protein contained in meat, eggs and milk. According to research, girls who eat more of these foods will develop earlier. In fact, to avoid premature maturity, just eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and whole food.

I am a radiologist. The reason for this article is that a pediatrician recently referred a 7-year-old girl for a pelvic ultrasound to assess whether her uterus and ovaries had begun to mature.

The girl’s mother told me that her nipples have been itchy recently. After evaluation by the pediatrician, it was confirmed that the breasts had begun to develop, so an ultrasound was arranged for further examination. After asking again, I found out that the girl indeed drinks a lot of milk every week and only likes to eat meat.

As a parent, does your daughter have similar eating habits and precocious puberty issues? The health alarm has actually sounded. Stop and think about it. It’s time to eat more vegetarian food.
