3D Mammography
The new 3D mammography can detect 41% more invasive breast cancer on average than traditional 2D mammography, and reduces the number of false-positive cancer findings by up to 40%. It is able to detect early pathological changes in the breasts, such as cysts or tumours. Regular mammography is recommended every two years for women over 40 years old.
What is 3D Mammography?
3D乳房造影 (3D Mammography) 於2011年獲得美國食品及藥物管理局認可，是全球嶄新的乳房成像技術。3D乳房造影從不同角度產生多張低劑量X光乳房影像，從而創建一套3D立體圖像。傳統的乳房造影僅從兩個不同的角度獲得2D乳房影像。現在放射科醫生可透過3D乳房X光造影，逐層檢查3D重組的乳房影像，醫生能夠更加容易診斷到患者早期乳房的病理變化，例如囊腫或腫瘤，準確度大大提高。患者亦可及早發現乳房疾病，進行療程。
