CT Scan Examination Guide

一、登記文件 | Registration Documents

• 請攜帶醫生轉介信正本及香港身份證正本登記。
• 內地人士請出示有效通行證或護照。
• 不接受影印本或手機照片。
• Please bring the original doctor’s referral letter and your HKID card for registration.
• Mainland visitors should present a valid travel document or passport.
• Photocopies or mobile photos are not accepted.

二、報到時間 | Check-in Time

• 請於預約時間前 30 分鐘 抵達中心辦理報到與準備。
• Please arrive at the centre 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment for registration and preparation.

三、禁食指引 | Fasting Instructions

• 若掃描範圍涉及膽部（如全腹、上腹等），請於檢查前 4 小時禁食。除非醫生另有指示，僅可少量飲用清水。
• For scans involving the biliary region (e.g., abdomen or upper abdomen), please fast for 4 hours before the scan.
• Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, you may drink only small amounts of water.

四、心臟血管造影（若適用） | Cardiac CT Angiography (If Applicable)

• 若接受心臟血管造影，請繼續服用醫生指示的 β 阻滯劑或降血壓藥物，或依主診醫生指示執行。
• 若患有心律不整，可能影響檢查準確性，請於預約或到診時告知醫護人員。
• For cardiac CT angiography, please continue taking any prescribed β-blockers or antihypertensive medications unless told otherwise by your doctor.
• If you have arrhythmia, please inform our staff, as it may affect image quality.

五、顯影劑與腎功能要求 | Contrast Agent & Renal Function Requirements

• 若檢查需注射顯影劑，下列情況者需提供 最近三個月內的腎功能報告：
• 年齡 65 歲或以上人士；
• 已知腎病或曾接受腎臟相關治療（包括腎移植、洗腎等）。
• 曾對食物、藥物或顯影劑有過敏反應，或有哮喘病史者，請提前通知轉介醫生或中心。必要時，醫生可在檢查前安排使用類固醇或其他預防措施以降低過敏風險。
• If your examination requires contrast injection, please provide a kidney function (blood) report performed within 3 months if:
• You are aged 65 or above;
• You have kidney disease or previously received kidney-related treatment (e.g., transplant, dialysis).
• If you have a history of food, drug, or contrast allergy, or asthma, please inform your referring doctor or our staff in advance. Preventive medications (e.g., steroids) may be advised to reduce allergic risks.

六、糖尿病患者（使用二甲雙胍 Metformin） | Diabetic Patients (on Metformin)

• 若腎功能（eGFR）正常，通常無需停藥。
• 若 eGFR < 30 mL/min/1.73m² 或有急性腎功能不全者，應於注射顯影劑後 停用 48 小時，並於血液檢查確認腎功能穩定後再恢復服用。
• 具體用藥安排須遵循主診醫生指示。
• If your kidney function (eGFR) is normal, Metformin usually does not need to be withheld.
• If eGFR < 30 mL/min/1.73m² or acute kidney injury is present, stop Metformin for 48 hours after the contrast injection, and only resume after confirming stable kidney function.
• Always follow your doctor’s specific instructions.

七、未成年人 | Minors

• 18 歲以下病人須由家長或法定監護人陪同，並簽署同意書方可進行檢查。
• Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign the consent form.

八、個人物品與準備 | Personal Belongings & Preparation

• 檢查前請脫除所有飾物與金屬物品（手錶、戒指、項鍊、耳環、髮夾等）。
• 請攜帶與本次檢查相關之 X 光片、報告或醫療紀錄以供比對。
• Please remove all jewelry and metal items (watch, rings, necklaces, earrings, hairpins, etc.) before the scan.
• Bring any related X-ray films, reports, or medical records for comparison.

九、女性病人與懷孕 | Female Patients & Pregnancy

• 電腦掃描涉及 輻射。若懷疑懷孕，請告知轉介醫生以評估是否需延後檢查。
• 若月經週期超過 28 天，需進行尿液驗孕測試。年齡超過 55 歲且已停經至少 2 年者可豁免。
• CT scans involve radiation. If you are or may be pregnant, please inform your doctor to assess the need for postponement.
• If your menstrual cycle exceeds 28 days, a urine pregnancy test may be required. Women aged over 55 who have been postmenopausal for at least 2 years are exempt.
